Just as Diwali gets over, Bollywood stars are getting back to business. Kristi Sanon, whose comic caper Housefull 4 is running at the box office is now getting ready to work on her next project. While talking to BT, Kriti said that post Diwali she will begin work on Mimi. The film will be shot in Rajasthan. Speaking about the project, Kriti says, “I am really excited to team up with Luka Chuppi director Laxman Utekar, who is helming the project.” The film also reunites Kriti with Pankaj Tripathi who plays an important part in the film. Together the duo had worked in Luka Chuppi and Bareilly Ki Barfi. Her new project is a Hindi version of National Award winning Marathi flick, Mala Aai Vhhaychy, which deals with the growing practice of surrogacy in India. “It’s a story about a young girl with big dreams and how things change when she turns into a surrogate. They say that one can understand emotions of a mother only when you become one. Through this film I will get to experience it right now,” says Kriti.
